Miller is, by nature, very interested in babies, very nurturing, somewhat bossy, and therefore often plays the role of Mama more than Sissy. She loves to take him his milk, take away his paci, tell him what he's not allowed to do, and repeat verbatim anything demonstrative that I tell him, e.g. - Robert, don't rub your yogurt all over your head....Bud, don't rub your yogurt all over your head. You are not allowed to make a big mess. Let me take your paci and put it in your bed, brother. This is followed by the sound of Robert screaming in protest, a sound which causes my tension level to increase one hundredfold, but doesn't ever bother Sissy in the least.
Miller also likes to hug, kiss, and hold him, which has long been problematic since he only weighs a few pounds less than she does. She also convinced him a few weeks ago to let her change his diaper. I found him lying on his bed, Miller attempting to fasten the diaper, and she looked up and said, "He just had a tee-tee. I already wiped him." When he stood up and turned around, we saw more than a little of the top of his cute fanny, and sweet Sissy just burst out laughing. This morning she was less willing to do the dirty work. She came up to him, took a whiff, and said, "I can't believe he pooped."
I love this quality in her and don't want to discourage her motherliness; it's too bad Robert doesn't always appreciate it as much as I do.
